About the MetaMask Ramps Team

The MetaMask Ramps team specializes in facilitating effortless crypto transactions for a global user base through diverse payment methods like PayPal, Apple Pay, UPI, and many more. Our mission is to be the universal gateway to web3. With a relatively unconstrained market opportunity, we aim to "Empower everyone, everywhere, to effortlessly transition in/out of web3." We're seeking a Technical Project Manager excited about scalability, user experience, and effective cross-functional collaboration to help us achieve this vision.

What you’ll do

As Technical Program Manager, you will enable cross-functional product teams by supporting and driving the integration of partners’ products and other third-party services or APIs with MetaMask wallet across platforms (browser extension, Mobile app and Portfolio dapp). In collaboration with third-party providers and our cross-functional product teams – particularly the Product Manager and Tech Lead – you will ensure successful integration with our products and product launches.

You will:

  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new on and off-ramp providers (and potentially other third-party partners across products), ensuring a smooth and efficient launch
  • Coordinate providers’ and partners’ implementation of changes promptly by communicating changes and overseeing QA
  • Develop timelines and identify deliverables by working with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, facilitating communication and workflow among client, platform, and MetaMask Curated Experiences teams
  • Maintain positive, collaborative and productive relationships with third-parties, maximizing efficiency in communication and protecting our team’ bandwidth while ensuring successful outcomes
  • Manage internal design and engineering dependencies, safeguarding consistent and timely delivery of project milestones
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce reports for stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on execution risks, scope creep, delivery towards milestones and completion
  • Develop tools, documentation and processes to improve productivity
  • Maintain standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • Develop project assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

This position requires a combination of technological skills, commercial skills, soft skills and great and clear communication, project and backlog management and organisational skills, thinking strategically, problem solving & creativity, resilience, driving towards project completion, team spirit and strong documentation practices. Your focus will also be on helping our teams and third-party partners achieve their goals, listening, supporting and guiding them toward success. 

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
  • Understanding of company, business and product objectives and technical requirements
  • Familiarity with agile development and project management
  • Experience managing complex projects across a large business unit and involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience successfully collaborating, delivering projects or product launches jointly with third-parties and external stakeholders 
  • Analytical skills, to plan and measure the success of your projects
  • Strong organizational skills, to manage multiple work streams in parallel and keep track of progress and status
  • Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills to maximise effectiveness of execution and keep internal and external stakeholders engaged and informed and performers motivated and accountable
  • Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Notion or ZenHub
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with change management, process creation and improvement work. Able to “meet where the team is at”
  • Highly collaborative and embodies “extreme ownership” principle
Bonus Points for:
  • Technical background - software engineering and/or architecture -, to fully understand technical projects, analyse their scope, and work with the technical teams
  • Understanding Blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
  • You’re a certified Agile practitioner (e.g. CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, etc)
  • You’re a certified PMP
  • You’re a MetaMask user!

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication, and organization

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills. Candidates should anticipate a base salary (not including bonus, equity or other benefits) of $USD[$103,000-195,000]
