Total Rewards Lead
As theTotal Rewards Lead, you will lead the development and execution of total rewards initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs, including executive compensation, base salary, variable pay, and equity plans. This role involves managing compensation and benefits administration, providing hands-on support with job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive programs. You will develop and implement recognition programs to drive employee engagement and retention, analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness, and manage vendor relationships and contracts with external partners. Collaboration with HR leadership on total rewards communication and education initiatives, along with developing and delivering communications and training on total rewards programs to employees, managers, and other stakeholders, will be key components of your responsibilities.
What You’ll Do- Ensure that the total rewards programs comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Demonstrate strong strategic understanding of organizational goals and contribute to aligning initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders (employees, HR, external providers, leadership).
- Utilize analytical skills to shape total rewards strategy and influence organizational goals.
- Communicate complex information about compensation and benefits programs to a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as finance, legal, and IT, to design and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Technical proficiency in the use of compensation and benefits software and tools; ability to analyze and manipulate data using spreadsheets, databases, and other software tools.
- Leadership skills to foster a positive work culture and guide and develop team members.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, trends, and regulations, including familiarity with a range of compensation and benefits programs such as base pay, incentives, benefits, and perquisites.
- Strong project management skills to manage projects at a strategic level.
- 10+ years of experience in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in People/HR with an emphasis on compensation, benefits, and equity programs.
- Proven track record in building total rewards programs in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to build employee-centric rewards programs while balancing business and financial boundaries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exposure to prioritization frameworks/experience in agile ways of working and advanced project management skills.
