Role Description:

As a member of the global HR team, the Total Rewards Senior Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert for total rewards globally. This role offers a unique opportunity to continue to shape Symphony's total rewards strategy and ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages that drive employee engagement and overall organizational success. In this role you will be the subject matter expert for totalrewards, globally, able to work at a strategic level while also having the ability to roll up your sleeves.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, execute, and educate on Symphony's total rewards strategy (compensation, benefits, recognition, incentives) including change management. 
  •  Lead all aspects of compensation cycles (bonus, sales commission, executive), ensuring alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Conduct market research, benchmark analysis, and survey management to maintain competitive, compliant packages. 
  • Design, build, and maintain our salary framework, using data-driven models to forecast costs and identify trends. 
  • Manage reward/recognition programs, partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes. 
  • Oversee benefit programs, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and a positive employee experience. 
  • Support HR stakeholders with compensation analysis for offers, mobility, immigration, and problem resolution. 
  • Prepare compensation communications and drive insight through data analysis for tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead total rewards due diligence/integration for acquisitions, staying abreast of industry developments.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Progressive experience in global total rewards, with a focus on compensation principles and market analysis.
  •  PHR/SHRM-CP/WWW or similar certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Experience designing compensation programs (job evaluation, salary structures, incentives).
  • Superior analytical skills - interpret data to drive recommendations and identify trends.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality, collaborate across the organization, and build strategic relationships.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) to explain complex total rewards concepts.
  • Independent worker with strong judgment, attention to deadlines, and ability to multitask.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and HRIS systems (ideally Workday)
