The Role:We seek an experienced Vice President of Information Technology & Systems to lead our global IT and enterprise business, systems teams. This strategic and technical leader will oversee a global team, ensuring our IT backbone is resilient, secure, scalable, and aligned with the business's evolving needs. The ideal candidate will bring a solid technical background and a modern approach to infrastructure, with hands-on experience managing large, distributed teams within a fast-scaling global company. This is a transformative role, where you’ll have the opportunity to overhaul and optimize our existing systems, driving efficiency and maximizing value within budget constraints.

The work you’ll do:Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a global team of IT professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Identify, recruit, and retain top talent in infrastructure, enterprise business systems, and service desk functions.
  • Evaluate and, if necessary, rethink the current team structure to maximize efficiency and support growth.

Infrastructure & Systems Strategy

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for infrastructure and systems that supports the company’s long-term business objectives.
  • Drive a modernized approach to infrastructure management, leveraging cloud solutions, automation, and DevOps practices as appropriate.
  • Ensure the infrastructure can scale with the company’s rapid growth, maintaining high availability and security across all systems.

Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment

  • Act as a key business partner to senior executives, working closely with departments to understand and meet their technology needs.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technology plans, ensuring the IT organization supports business growth, innovation, and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and assess new technologies and solutions that can drive value for the business.

Financial Management & Efficiency

  • Effectively manage the IT budget, finding creative ways to deliver results on a flat budget without compromising quality or security.
  • Seek opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency through automation, process improvement, and vendor management.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure performance and track progress on cost and operational improvements.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee global IT operations to ensure high standards in service delivery, incident response, and issue resolution.
  • Implement best practices in IT service management, aligning with frameworks such as ITIL and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize business risk.

The qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MS in Information Systems) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing global teams in a fast-scaling company.
  • Proven experience leading infrastructure, systems, and service desk functions on a global scale.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing or restructuring teams for better efficiency and scalability.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background with hands-on expertise in infrastructure management, including experience with cloud environments, automation tools, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to think strategically and act as a trusted business partner, understanding and translating business needs into actionable IT strategies.
  • Financial Management: Experience managing and optimizing budgets within a flat or limited financial structure.
