The OpportunityThe Vice President, Sales COE is a key member of the COO management team. You'll be responsible for overseeing the alignment of key business areas and ensuring the achievement of the company's strategic goals. Key areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to demand generation strategy and execution, driving pipeline governance to ensure long-term sustainable growth, and unlocking global sales productivity via field enablement initiatives.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Ensure alignment of the different parts of the field organization including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Customer COE and make ongoing recommendations for improvement.
  • Delivers integrated business plan for the business unit and manages resource allocation and performance management.
  • Adapt to evolving business models; scale for growth; adopt and syndicate best practices/standards.
  • Drive innovation and transformation plans.
  • Oversee sales and business development teams to drive coordinated inbound and outbound pipeline generation activities
  • Responsible for pipeline coverage development (over a rolling four quarter horizon) and pipeline quality
  • Implement processes to ensure pipeline development and pipeline quality, as well as identify and address bottlenecks.
  • Management of the multiple sources of demand to reach short-term objectives.
  • Elaborate enablement plans aligned to GTM strategic objectives and gaps identified in the field organization.
  • Ensure the field organization is constantly up-to-date regarding new product innovations and releases, sales plays, and sales methodology.
  • Identify reasons for low performance and implement strategies for improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced experience in Revenue Operations, Business Development and Enablement leadership in a SaaS business
  • Strategic support for growth initiatives
  • Global / Regional blueprinting and execution
  • Advance Direct sales experience in license and/or cloud software sales is required.
  • Advanced leadership experience with people responsibility
  • Experience leading diverse functional organizations
  • P&L experience
  • Experience with budget management preferred
  • Experience in managing demand/sales support functions (COE, Value Engineering, Presales, Operations)
