Formlabs needs your video editing skills to help us spread our message. If you are creative, self-motivated, and inquisitive with a strong interest in video editing, we have the perfect challenge for you. Join us as a Video Editor, and help us grow.

The Job: 

  • Collaborate with teams across Formlabs to edit videos such as product launch videos, workflow demos, user stories, event montages, and more
  • Work closely with the Video Producer, Studio Production Manager, and Creative Director to deliver compelling, high-quality, and on-brand video content
  • Able to meet with the team 1-2 times per week to receive assignments and feedback
  • Visit the Somerville office as needed to pick up and drop off hard drives
  • Execute 10 to 20 hours of editing work per week

You:

  • Confident working with DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro
  • Possess a home editing suite capable of handling up to 4K footage
  • In-depth understanding of non-linear post-production, ideally experienced in colour correction/grading, audio syncing/cleanup, and multicam editing
  • Excellent project and timeline organization; must be able to hand off an edit if required
  • Comfortable with a highly iterative creative process, able and willing to try things quickly and learn from each pass
  • Ability to think creatively and produce superb work under tight deadlines

Bonus:

  • Experience in After Effects, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop
  • An interest in motion graphics
  • Familiarity with Frame.io and DAM (Digital Asset Management)
