The Workday Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing payroll in multiple locations worldwide, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. You will work closely with our payroll vendors, internal business partners, and end users, supporting day-to-day activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting our project roadmap, and ensuring SLAs. This position reports to the senior payroll manager.

The impact you will have:

● Own US payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now, including the semi-monthly payroll submission from initiation to completion for multiple company codes

● Ensure the accuracy of US payroll, including base pay, bonuses, stock compensation, commissions, payroll taxes, employee changes, new hires, 401K, garnishments, and other deductions● Manage employee-related payroll concerns with Spoke ticketing system and general payroll email inbox.● Monitor electronic timekeeping system in ADP Workforce Now: Setup each employee,validate employee's changes, monitor submissions of approved timesheets● Prepare data files and upload FSA, 401k, and HSA contributions● Develop and document payroll processes and internal controls to ensure their scalability● Assist with payroll compliance matters such as multi-state/multi-jurisdiction taxwithholding, garnishments, and key annual audits (e.g. 401(k) audit, worker’scompensation, external financial audit)● Participate in special projects as assigned, such as documenting workflows, registering innew states for payroll taxation, improving processes/procedures and systemimplementations

 

What we look for:

● CPP designation and bachelor’s degree● 3+ years of payroll processing experience, including general accounting and payroll entries, for exempt and nonexempt employees● Experience with ADP WorkforceNow preferred;Workday HCM and Payroll experience ● Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure● Adaptable to a fast-changing work environment; able to deliver accurate and on-timepayroll regardless of the circumstances● Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, aswell as the ability to collaborate closely with other teams remotely to accomplish objectivesand deadlines

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range$72,800—$128,800 USD
