About the Role

As the Workforce Planner & Administrator, you will oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and workforce performance reporting. You will report to the Site Director and will interact with Site Operations, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Contingency Worker Agencies on a regular basis.

What you will be doing:

  • Create a rolling-week labour plan with defined staffing risks and actions, recommended staffing levels and mix; based on the end objective of delivering on-time and on budget production plan
  • Facilitate review cycles with Operations, People, and other internal/external stakeholders to get alignment and deliver the labour plan
  • Document standard workforce planning, scheduling, and reporting processes; drive continuous improvement to improve process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with Site Operations and People to build, track, and report data sets required for labour planning, including, but not limited to internal and external headcount, attendance, fill rate, attrition, people data (job codes, titles, part time/full time), target percent agency, overtime, average labour rates, etc.
  • Oversee internal and external labour hours and invoice reconciliation and approvals process
  • Oversee weekly scheduling processes, including schedule creation, availability requests and changes, and daily schedule adjustments; Ensure processes owners adhere to define planning and scheduling processes
  • Communicate & coordinate with employment agencies for daily labour management 
  • Create and publish management reports on labour performance for eg : Scheduled plan Vs target and review with respective departments.
  • Train and support define users on workforce planning and scheduling tools and systems
  • Office administration functions eg: Order office supplies, coordinate engagement activities, manage facility communications 
  • Screen visitors entering the building and direct them accordingly 
  • Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations. 
  • Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer. 
  • Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within a production/supply chain industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present and explain complex information to non-technical staff in a user-friendly way
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Proven ability to produce, analyze, and interpret complex sets of information to support the diagnosis of problems.
  • A clear passion for food and working in a fast paced production environment;
