The Workplace Experience team is dedicated to supporting our 20+ global offices through managing office operations and providing workplace hospitality services, including food and event operations, while also contributing to the evolution of physical workspace through analyzing office data, iterating our programs and processes, and collaborating closely with other workspace development and operational teams like Real Estate and Environments. In particular, workplace hospitality is becoming even more important in the flexible environment of our company. Therefore, delivering a seamless hosted experience in our offices is a primary focus of the Workplace Experience team, partnering closely with Employee Engagement, the Admin Community, Affinity Groups, Diversity & Belonging, Information Technology (IT), and Security.

The Difference You Will Make:

You will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of the workplace hospitality programs within the Americas offices (Atlanta, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, Portland, São Paulo, Seattle), with a primary focus on workplace food & beverage, and event management. In support of the office as the center of excellence for hospitality, you will deliver on the strategic event, food, and hospitality services as defined by Workplace Experience leadership. Working closely with local Workplace Coordinators to support the implementation of these services within their own offices, you will oversee the successful delivery of these programs in all offices within the Americas.

A Typical Day: 

  • Act as the single POC within the region for the workplace events and food programs, implementing and supporting these programs across the region in alignment with the program philosophies and strategy.
  • At hub offices within the region, manage the end-to-end events process working closely with onsite Workplace Experience team members to support venue/room booking and setup, food vendor selection, and coordination with other key teams such as Security, Audio Visual (AV), and IT.
  • Host and lead frequent cross functional meetings with teams that contribute to onsite events including Employee Engagement, Facilities, IT, AV, Security, and Admins; manage the roadmap for all scheduled events in the region, and coordinate between teams for an effective events process onsite.
  • Guide Workplace Experience Coordinators on execution of food and events and support all Workplace team members within the region to execute on these programs as needed.
  • Liaise with Employee Resource Groups (Airfinity teams) and other passion groups within the region to understand their own roadmap and ensure their events are supportable onsite.
  • Meet with the head of Workplace Hospitality Strategy on a weekly basis for direction and guidance, provide input and insight into strategic programs and processes, and cascade evolution of program changes to local Workplace Experience Coordinators, ensuring the successful implementation of such. 

Your Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in workplace, hospitality, events and/or food industry
  • Relevant experience managing programs in events and food within a corporate company required, technology company preferred
  • Proven ability to establish and manage vendor relationships for the delivery of programs and events 
  • Proven organizational skills, ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships across functions and with both internal and external partners
  • Passion for high level of customer service and hospitality
  • Advanced knowledge of events and food practices in the areas of sustainability, organic products, and low waste food programs
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Travel required to regional offices to understand local event and food operations and to support larger site-wide gatherings as needed

How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$125,000—$153,500 USD
