The team you’ll join
The Human Resources (HR) function at StepStone Group is a globally distributed organization that supports the full employee lifecycle across all asset classes, business lines, and regions. The team operates under a Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Business Partner (HRBP) model, enabling both centralized expertise and close partnership with leaders and teams across the firm. The HR organization is comprised of approximately 27 HR professionals globally, spanning HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Analytics, and Central HR Service Delivery. HR team members are based across several StepStone offices, including New York, La Jolla, Baltimore, Charlotte, Dublin, Zurich, and Sydney, and work collaboratively to support a global employee population.
About the role
The Talent Intern will support the Global Talent Management team with day-to-day operations, program coordination, learning initiatives, and HR technology maintenance. This role will work closely with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Campus partners to support intern and analyst programs, including onboarding, learning experiences, communications, and program operations. In this role you will gain:

What you’ll do
This position is designed for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development within a global organization. The intern will assist with internal communication campaigns, learning initiatives, global onboarding documentation, system configuration and upkeep, AI-enabled content creation, and other ad hoc projects as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Global Talent Management team
- Support the planning and execution of new hire, intern and analyst program activities, including onboarding coordination, learning sessions, communications, and program logistics
- Manage administrative tasks and maintain shared inboxes owned by the Talent team, responding to routine inquiries
- Support new hire and intern onboarding, including scheduling, document maintenance, and preparation of day-one materials
- Support scheduling, registration, communication, and tracking for internal learning and development initiatives such as manager training, mentorship programs, and eLearning
- Create and update training and learning content, including slide decks, job aids, guides, templates, and onboarding materials
- Assist with AI-enabled content creation, including drafting communications, learning materials, and documentation using approved AI tools
- Prepare reports, metrics, and basic dashboards using HR and learning technologies
- Support HR system maintenance, data accuracy, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve Talent processes through automation or AI-enabled efficiencies, and support implementation under guidance
What we’re looking for
- Must be able to work legally in Ireland without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Undergraduate student graduating anywhere from December 2027 through June 2028
- Be able to work full time in our Dublin office from September 2026 – August 2027
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with collaboration tools, HR systems, or AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to AI, data, or automation through coursework, projects, or internships is strongly preferred
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive and team-oriented approach
This position is available for immediate hire. The internship duration will be 1 year with the option of extending if mutally agreed up.
