Tripadvisor seeks an innovative and passionate Manager of CRM to drive growth & guide members through their traveler journey. You will play a pivotal role in driving user engagement and retention through effective communication strategies, with a primary focus on our mobile app user base, and will help support new content and contact strategies based on industry trends, engagement data, and traveler needs. This role will help spearhead new email, push, and SMS strategies, guiding hundreds of millions of members through their traveler journey, and engaging them with useful and relevant content.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, CRM Growth, this is a highly cross-functional role and this person will interface across the full business working closely with numerous stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Customer Support, and Creative. 

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing growth strategies across CRM-owned channels (email, app push, SMS) to drive user engagement and improve conversion. Utilize data-driven insights to create these targeted and personalized communication that enhances user engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with product & integrated marketing teams to understand new features, updates, and releases for the mobile app. Develop strategies to seamlessly integrate new products into CRM campaigns.
  • Execute A/B tests that allow us to continuously optimize content, timing, and cadence of lifecycle communications across marketing channels to improve user experiences and increase marketing efficiency.
  • Translate business goals into accurate delivery requirements, including but not limited to: specifying required data, segmentation & targeting logic, and dynamic content requirements.
  • Manage machine learning recommendation models & continuous optimization what we’re showing to members
  • Ownership of campaign performance, engagement metrics, and overall channel health, including consistent and timely sharing of all performance, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement based on key performance indicators.

 

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging channel data to develop insights
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms such as ESP’s and CDP's. Braze preferred.
  • Mobile app marketing experience a plus
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Must be a collaborative, cross-functional team player and comfortable partnering with a variety of teams
  • Must exhibit superb verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
