Role: Digital Account Executive - retail (FTC - 12 months)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Required onsite twice a week)

Account: Large retail brand

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, Account Executive will join our EU Retail team, working in true collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to support a number of key processes. Working in the Digital Team, you will provide planning and administrative support to facilitate effective ways of working on upcoming projects and store openings.

  • You have experience or affinity with Digital marketing, CRM, social media 
  • You have experience, affinity, or interest in omni-channel marketing, shopping 
  • You are articulate, engaged and confident in communicating with senior clients  
  • You are highly organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, in a non-siloed approach  
  • You have the ability to manage own workload  
  • You have a passion for delivering effective campaigns   
  • You have excellent attention to detail   
  • You have strong campaign management
  • You have excellent people management and communication skills
  • You have a desire to learn about campaign management.
  • You have strong administrative capability
  • You are approachable and a team player 
  • You are an advocate for promoting positive sustainable behaviours and able to put a sustainability lens on the strategic and creative process.
  • You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Activation events setup in system in line with attached manual and as per requests processed in the Smartsheet operated by adidas 
  • Programming of content for activation videos on retail screens in line with attached manual and as per requests arriving from adidas stores via the Smartsheet system 
  • You must be willing and eligible to travel within Europe.  At a minimum, you will visit the adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany once a quarter but you may also be required to travel to other European cities for specific projects.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Cluster Retail Marketing, Europe Omni-channel VM, Europe DTC merchandising, Field Teams (Retail Director, DMs, VM, Operations, etc.), Europe Business Unit Comms Teams, Europe Omni-channel Team,  

Global Omni-channel Market Activation, Agencies and Vendors, Global VM&ISC, Global Business Unit Retail Marketing Teams,, Europe membership (adiClub) team, Global digital content management team. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

Knowledge, Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 
  • Fluent in English  
  • Additional languages beneficial (German, Spanish, French, or other European languages) 
  • Good communication skills  
  • Good organisational skills 
  • Service oriented

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience. 
  • 1-3 years Retail or Marketing experience (minimum 1 year Retail experience is essential) 
  • Experience or affinity with Digital marketing, CRM & social media. 
  • Experience and or knowledge of Visual Merchandising would be highly advantageous
