The role

As a Global Director of Total Rewards in HelloFresh you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of HelloFresh’ compensation, equity and benefits programs on a global scale. This includes driving the strategic direction of the function, innovating our total rewards offers internally, managing budgets, automating current workflows, conducting market research, and working with senior leadership to ensure that compensation and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives. As a Global Director of Total Rewards you will also be responsible for managing a team of professionals who are responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs.

What you’ll do

Key responsibilities of the global director of compensation and benefits will include;

  • Developing and implementing global compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization’s business goals and objectives
  • End-to-end management of the annual salary review cycle globally (in partnership with local HR teams), including market benchmarking, salary band revision, etc.
  • Managing and improving Global Job Catalog (harmonizing grading logic)
  • Managing our Equity Program (VSOP/ RSU) on a Global level ensuring seamless & efficient employee experience in combination with an accurate grant preparation and execution
  • Leading annual compensation Budget Process across all international entities together with the Management Board
  •  
  • Conducting market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits
  • Managing budgets for the organization’s compensation and benefits programs
  • Overseeing the administration of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs, including the development of policies and procedures
  • Managing a team of professionals responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related matters
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations 
What you’ll bring
  • Combination of experience in mature and emerging firms
  • 4+ years team management experience
  • Involved in all 5 relevant pillars with a proven track record (Job grading / leveling, Salary benchmarking, Salary Review / Performance management process, equity [virtual and restricted stock units] and Long-term incentive management)
  • Additional nice to have is experience with ES(P)P (Employee Share (Purchase) Plans)
  • Bonus scheme management is a nice to have
