Our Propositions team plays a crucial role in attracting new and engaging existing customers in our range of innovative energy propositions. In summary, this team owns our ‘shop window’! Whether it's a new energy tariff, renewable energy subscriptions, or designing the energy range of the future - this team is central to our mission of putting both our customers and the planet first.
This role in a nutshell:
We are seeking a Head of Energy Propositions to manage our existing range of tariffs, subscriptions, and cross category propositions, and transform the way our customers interact with us through important moments that matter such as home moves. . This role is crucial in both managing our existing range, and ensuring we are embracing new market capabilities that will change how consumers interact with their energy supplier. The ideal candidate will bring a strong propositions management & development background, a solid understanding of driving customer value, and a passion for sustainability.
Your key outcomes will be:
Within your first 6 months month you’ll:
- Developed a vision for our energy range: Understood our range of energy propositions, the role they play in driving customer value, and created a vision of how our range should evolve.
- Team Leadership: Established strong leadership within their immediate and cross-functional teams, inspiring and mentoring propositions managers, collaborating with Product & Tech teams, and supporting the broader Propositions team development & culture..
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively collaborated with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment and integration across Commercial, Brand, Marketing, and customer support teams to understand our customer pain points and needs.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track proposition outcomes , using data-driven insights to continuously improve proposition performance and future development plans.

We’ll pay you between £81,000 and £115,000 depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
