🍋 This is how you’ll change the way people eat foreverWe are looking for a Junior HR Specialist for our ambitious team in Amsterdam. Working in the HR team in Amsterdam, part of the bigger People team, you take an active role in our employee journey, from creating the employment contract to supporting with the day-to-day questions from your HelloFresh colleagues, taking an active role in making sure the salaries are paid correctly and on time to helping with HR projects, such as updating HR policies, optimizing our processes and optimizing our secondary benefits.

In this role, you’ll work together with the HR team on processing all HR-relevant data. Together with the team you are responsible for the HR administration, processing changes, and preparing the payroll. You will also be working on different HR topics and projects. You are the first point of contact regarding all types of HR questions from all your HelloFresh colleagues. 

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

  • Managing the employee life cycle, from onboarding new joiners in our HR systems (Workday & AFAS) to offboarding, including having exit interviews
  • Supporting all our colleagues with their HR questions and managing our shared HR mailbox
  • Preparing and processing changes for payroll
  • Providing employees with support on employer statements, A1 declarations, requests for 30% rulings and all other documentation
  • Work with the team on continuous improvement of our processes

  • Preferably at least a year of experience in a similar HR role
  • You are detail-oriented and work well with set deadlines
  • You are well-organized, structured, analytical and are good at following up on outstanding questions
  • You feel responsible for your contribution to the team and organization
  • You love helping and supporting people
  • You are interested in staying up to date on all HR and payroll-related topics
  • You’re pro-active, a strong communicator, and make things happen
  • Having experience with AFAS and/or Workday is a nice to have
  • Fluent in English and Dutch both in writing and verbally
