Key Responsibilities

 

Operations:

  • Manage CFS orders across China and S.E Asia regions, and coordinate with vendors / 3PLs to ensure seamless order processing.
  • Address and monitor order exceptions and discrepancies arising between shipper bookings and supplier-provided order information in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and assess daily performance of vendors, providing guidance aligned with standard operational processes. Escalate risks to the line manager when necessary.
  • Conduct weekly scrum meetings with individual vendors to identify demands and risks.
  • Handle enquiry from shipper and factory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize freight operations and resolve any operational issues.
  • Proficiently perform data analysis to offer insights and facilitate straightforward problem-solving.
  • Gather operational feedback, establish a continuous improvement plan, and oversee its implementation through managing vendors.
  • Monitor and track supplier and shipper performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

 

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract actionable insights from operational data.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, exceptions, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings and track performance metrics.

 

Required Experience/Skills

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, international trade, Operations Research, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a directly related field, coupled with analytical or consulting role experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and adeptness in working with data.
  • Strong multitasking skills, detail-oriented nature with a focus on accuracy, and ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred or plus

  • Background in supply chain-related majors or prior experience in order management and international logistics.
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery.
  • Experience in working with global teams and external partners.
