Databricks is looking to hire an OTC Strategy and Operations Manager reporting to the Senior Manager, OTC Strategy and Operations. As the strategic owner driving innovation and commercialization at scale, you will support various teams which include Revenue, Commercialization, Order Management, IT, Legal, and SEC Reporting. You will work cross-functionally with our GTM organization to deliver new offerings, enhancements and system changes. You will utilize your CPQ competencies to support user acceptance test enhancements and changes to our CPQ system, which is a critical part of delivering a scalable and stable CPQ system to our stakeholders.
The impact you will have:
- Business subject matter expert on provisioning and end to end usage flow which includes integrations between systems, cross-functional teams, and cloud vendor marketplaces.
- Design and documentation of automated reconciliations related to usage, billing, and contracting under a SOX scope.
- Execute UAT of commercialization initiatives relative to usage, billing, and contracting.
- Design and document month-end close processes using a combination of automated reconciliations and manual procedures.
- Design, documentation, and execution of processing of revenue - sharing agreements.
- Understand and Communicate the impacts of GTM initiatives with the Revops and Revenue accounting close processes.
- Understand the impacts of CPQ changes and be able to recommend optimization and automation areas to feed into the CPQ product roadmap.
- Coordinate testing (with business stakeholders), including drafting test scenarios, facilitating demos, UAT and sign-off.
- Drive SOX compliance through understanding of E2E data flow, reconciliations, and process.
What we look for:
- 5+ Years of experience of operational accounting experience
- Experience in Salesforce CPQ
- Nice to have - Experience in SQL and Python
- Experience with Cloud Marketplace
- Experience with ASC 606 and Software and SaaS concepts
- Experience delivering complex projects with multiple milestones and dependencies
- Experience in project management approaches and phases of the lifecycle as it relates to the detailed aspects of OTC operations
- Understanding of global Quote-to-Cash processes including order management, billing, collections, cash application, and revenue recognition

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range$120,700—$213,600 USD
