YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a WOW service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the most trendy places in each city and delivering their products in less than 30 mins.

The way we want to grow is by making everything in cities immediately accessible. To reach this goal we need a 360, analytical, and results driven person to lead the quick commerce business in a startup where time is a crucial factor. You will act and operate as a startup within our company, so you must be a builder.

THE JOURNEY

  • Be owner of Q-Commerce P&Ls (Groceries, retail & darkstore business units) 
  • Build and maintain relationships with the top retail & grocery partners in the region
  • Support the local Q-Commerce teams in the region to onboard new partners on our platform and the account management team to make active partners grow
  • Support the local Q-Commere leaders on contract renegotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
  • Grow the sustainability of our darkstore network
  • Represent Glovo the region in key stakeholder meetings
  • Get feedback from our partners and translate it into product, marketing and operations improvement
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
  • Define the medium and long-term strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets for the region the established time
  • Give visibility using analytical reports to the main stakeholders of the project status and follow up on next steps
  • Improve operational efficiency of our partners and our MFCs by making sure we always deliver the best service to our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • +7 years of experience in fast-paced environments (FMCG, retail, startups, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
  • Experience in owning a full P&L
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across different departments
  • Be driven to build a business from scratch, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
  • Ability to hire, manage and retain a top talent team
  • Experience in understanding retail business, as well as revenue dynamics and drivers.
  • Know how to negotiate and build your way into a super deal with big retail players
  • Data-driven mentality: takes decision based on data and makes business judgment when necessary
  • Ability to find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
  • Proficiency in English
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
