If you are ready to build the category leader for HR software for SMEs in Europe with us while accelerating your sales career, we are excited for you to join us!This is an outbound sales role, meaning you'll be contacting and building relationships with companies that Personio's HR software can add value to and accompany them in their first steps to becoming a potential new customer. You will uncover the needs of companies with up to 2,000 employees, educate them on the benefits of introducing digital HR processes and, in the process, develop your sales skills and business acumen. This is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself step by step towards becoming a SaaS sales expert and build out your foundational sales skills.Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive new business by owning the early stages of the sales process
  • Develop and implement strategies for outbound lead generation
  • Research, identify and actively approach potential new customers in the UK&I region through tailored campaigns, emailing and cold calling 
  • Evaluate prospects’ needs and demonstrate the value of Personio for their business
  • Build relationships to establish an engaged dialogue with key decision makers
  • Collaborate with and learn from an experienced team of Account Executives
  • Consistently meet and exceed targets and KPIs

What you need to succeed

  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role - preferably lead generation or sales development 
  • Experience using relevant tech stack such as Salesforce, SalesLoft etc.
  • Proven ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, and effectively manage competing priorities
  • You thrive in competitive environments with clear targets and goals
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • You are self-aware and take ownership of your strengths and improvement opportunities, you appreciate and act on feedback
  • You have a curious mindset and a hunger to learn 
  • You are resilient, sales-oriented and driven by targets and goals
  • You demonstrate great presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English
