We are now looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Lead to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Agilisys Product in the public sector.

THE ROLE
Key responsibilities
The Sales Lead is a vital role within Agilisys and will be responsible for driving sales efforts for Agilisys Product in the public sector, specifically targeting Local Government and NHS organisations.
The Sales Lead will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for Agilisys Product in the public sector.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within Local Government and NHS organisations.
- Positioning Agilisys Product as a trusted partner for Generative AI solutions in the public sector.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to refine messaging and collateral for the public sector audience.
- Collaborating with Agilisys Product development team to articulate customer feedback and perception of tools.
Specific duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector, with a focus on SaaS products.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and Product offerings.
- Deliver compelling Product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and market trends.

The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in public sector sales, particularly in selling software or technology products.
- Network within the public sector and a deep understanding of decision-making processes within government organisations
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (in the public sector).
- Strong understanding of the Local Government landscape in the UK.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Self-starter, ability to work autonomously
- Will be expected to be travelling multiple times per week to regional locations
