In order to meet that demand, Data is on a mission to enable better decisions within the company.As a Senior Marketing BI Analyst in the GTM Data team, you play a crucial role in guiding and optimizing marketing strategies to ensure alignment with sales objectives and overall business goals. Your leadership in marketing analysis, trend forecasting, and strategic planning is essential in driving innovative marketing initiatives and enhancing collaboration with the Sales team.Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Leading the development and implementation of data-driven marketing strategies that align with sales targets and organizational goals within the Go-to-market framework.
  • Marketing Campaign Analysis: Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various channels and regions, and optimizing strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Customer Segmentation and Personalization:  Implementing advanced segmentation strategies to categorize existing customers and potential leads. Collaborating closely with the GTM team to target specific segments with personalized marketing and sales efforts, enhancing both lead conversion  and customer retention.
  • Trend Identification and Forecasting: Analyzing market trends, predicting future developments, and providing insights to stay competitive.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentoring marketing analysts and fostering collaboration with the Sales and CX team to ensure cohesive Go-to-market strategies.
  • Report Generation and Presentation: Crafting and presenting insightful reports to leadership, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Dashboard Creation: Developing advanced dashboards for monitoring key marketing and sales metrics.Budget Management: Overseeing the adjustment of marketing KPI projections within a bi-annual budget review process, aligning marketing goals with financial constraints, and collaborating with relevant teams to optimize resource allocation.

What you need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in a leadership role, demonstrating familiarity with relevant business contexts.
  • You have a strong understanding of company-wide and marketing-specific KPIs and scalable dashboard creation, translating business requirements into meaningful metrics and visually compelling dashboards that drive effective decision-making.
  • Proficiency in SQL and BI/Visualization tools like Tableau, enabling efficient data extraction, manipulation, and presentation for impactful data visualization.
  • Understand basic statistical models and their potential applications to support a business problem analysis.
  • Familiarity with key marketing and sales platforms, including but not limited to:
    • Marketing Analytics: Google Analytics, Marketo
    • Marketing Automation: HubSpot, Marketo
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Salesforce, HubSpot
    • Data Management and Segmentation: Dreamdata, Snowflake
  • Experience enabling teams to make data-based decisions, promoting a data-driven culture by guiding access to relevant data, conducting analyses, and interpreting insights across the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity for uncovering insights beyond surface-level numbers, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Articulate communicator, conveying data observations in layperson terms, facilitating clear and concise communication of complex insights to stakeholders to liaise with various teams within the Go-to-market department.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving impactful results, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving, and identifying opportunities where data-driven insights can make a tangible impact.
