As Marketing Automation Engineer you’ll join a cross-functional team who is building custom solutions to tackle technical marketing challenges and who is optimizing various processes for our team members. Your main responsibility is to contribute to the technical architecture of the Marketing Automation team by planning and executing your own projects end to end.

The ideal candidate will help discover, understand and develop shared resources that help the team in the long term and uplift team productivity.

• With your experience you will understand and suggest possibilities for technical architecture and you’ll contribute on the decisions on tooling being used
• You will advise and support the team in technical definition of solution requirements
• You will contribute to establishing development standards & best practices with the team
• You will need to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, a passion for learning new technologies quickly
• 2+ years of software engineering experience or development experience with Python
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience in writing clean and maintainable software using Python and related frameworks
• Solid communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Understanding of / experience with marketing APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.) is a big plus
• Experience in developing backend systems, and web services using relational databases (such as SQL Server, Postgres, etc.) or data warehouses (Snowflake, etc.) is a plus
• Understanding of big data platforms and data engineering is a plus
• Understanding of marketing & marketing technologies is a plus 
• Experience with a formal project management method or managing projects is a plus
• Experience with Airflow, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker or GitHub Actions  is a plus
