As a Sr. Analyst, Finance Transformation, you will play a meaningful role supporting the Program Manager to make data driven decisions. This is an individual contributor role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proactive demeanor that loves solving challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Manager in the development of the Elastic's strategy on high visibility initiatives, and long-term strategic priorities in key ecosystem areas
  • Develop recommendations and prepar3 written and oral presentations to senior management
  • Analyze data from various sources to compile a comprehensive picture of overall business requirement documents, process mapping, and process narratives.
  • Create comprehensive project test plans. Coordinate, track, and report testing activities.
  • Coordinate, support, and provide guidance on initiatives to multi-functional partners
  • Develop and implement standard processes across finance functions
  • Collaborate seamlessly with teams across various groups and levels within the organization. Develop strong working relationships to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Business, Finance & Marketplace Competence: Leverage general finance and experience to drive programs and to understand the broader impact of programs on the organization. Make informed decisions to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Qualifications
    • 8+ years of demonstrable experience in accounting, finance, project management, business analysis, and business operations support.
    • B.A. or B.S. or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Information Technology with a focus on Business applications
    • Experience working with Consumption and Marketplace Business Models
    • Experience working on finance projects that have enabled Cloud Service Provider Marketplace support.
    • Proficient understanding in the order to cash transaction flow, bookings reporting, sales reporting, accounting, procure to pay, and data reconciliation.
    • Prior experience with data mapping, process mapping, system flows, process narrative and data integration
    • Strong, demonstrable, experience with SQL
    • Good interpersonal and team building skills; ability to influence/inspire change across functional and business boundaries
    • Ability to take charge of sophisticated tasks with minimal mentorship and develop new strategies and new ways of approaching business challenges independently
    • Continuous improvement mentality and ability to suggest and implement new and better ways to work
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
    • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity.

    Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

    The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

    These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

    An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

    Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
