We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Learning Programs & Operations who is customer-obsessed and driven to innovate as we build and transform how we make content and education available to employees, customers, and partners when they need it. The right candidate will help scale global education and enablement programs along with establishing and driving operational excellence. You will be strategic, creative, not afraid to roll-up sleeves, and have demonstrated drive to solve real customer problems and revolutionize learning experiences. This individual will need to be self-motivated, highly organized, and have what it takes to challenge status-quo. With this career opportunity, you will leverage your skills and experiences to help build and maintain solutions in a growing organization that delivers incredible results. This leadership role will report into the Performance, Education, and Knowledge (PEAK) Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Professional Services, PEAK, Portfolio, and Customer Success. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Own, establish, gain buy-in, influence, and drive adoption of the learning technology strategy, roadmap, and toolbox.
  • Oversight and management of all key strategic PEAK projects, programs, and events.
  • Create and manage organizational business reviews, dashboards, feedback processes, and analytics while providing insights, actions, and thought leadership.
  • Contribute information and recommendations to help in drafting strategic plans and set operational objectives.
  • Manages PEAK budget, vendors and contractors, along with onboarding, contracts, and associated budget.
  • Facilitates communication and information flow within the organization and outside, while taking lead on team events and engagement.
  • Serves as a liaison between the organization and key stakeholders on critical projects and initiatives.
  • Prepares action plans to help achieve the planned goals and deadlines, while applying change, risk and resource management to ensure all is executed successfully. 
  • Track and report project and program status on a consistent basis, including identifying, categorizing, and escalating project/program issues and risks that need leadership attention.
  • Identifies and addresses organizational challenges, drives operational efficiencies, and implements solutions as needed.
  • Provides support to PEAK executive with operations support of workshops, strategic planning, notes, follow-up, communications and assets used for critical meetings with internal and external audiences.  
  • Oversees and drives successful launches, change management, communication, and adoption for the organization and CX.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes, procedures, tools, training, and reporting functions related to projects and programs.
  • Ensure that communicated and planned milestones and metrics (savings, cost, timing, etc.) are achieved, successfully managed and executed on schedule and on budget.
  • Evaluate, measure, and report on strategic effectiveness and ROI for overall project and program efforts.
  • Act as a liaison across geographies and with technical and non-technical audiences to communicate and ensure alignment to objectives. Surface key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
  • Effectively manages risk, partnering with colleagues to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements.
  • Ability to present information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding while expertly engaging cross-functionally as required.
  • Mentor, develop, and coach team members and talent.
  • Lead and performance manage team members to execute and drive business outcomes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years managing people/teams.
  • Minimum 8 years working in a learning and/or relevant enablement organization.
  • Minimum 10 years working in a project and/or program management role.
  • PMP certified is a strong plus.
  • Experience with vendor assessment, management, and onboarding.
  • Ability to support multiple projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior oral and written communicator and facilitator across multiple levels and roles of an organization.
  • Track record of effective project and program management experience.
  • Expert in influence and negotiation, with deep understanding of effective change management.
  • Demonstrated experience being a champion for process or change, providing context and clarity, while minimizing overhead.
  • Experience driving, supporting, and implementing an entire organization’s operations and driving outcomes aligned to the goals and objectives.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Extremely strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with executives and all levels of leadership.
  • Experience with leading projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross company product or project.
  • Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.

The annual base salary range is: $167,000 - $251,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
