Staff Technical Program Manager, Payments

This person will partner with our payments engineering teams to deliver solutions to improve the productivity of Airbnb engineers. A Typical Day:
- Develop a portfolio view of Payments programs and ensure leaders have sufficient visibility into execution status, issues, and decisions.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional initiatives aimed at increasing the productivity of our technical teams.
- Apply a data-driven approach to measuring developer productivity and happiness to inform roadmap prioritization, intensely focusing on developer success.
- Manage effective communication with stakeholders and across teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Focuses on key priorities
- Partner with developer teams to develop and enforce high quality internal documentation.
- Acts without being told what to do; brings new ideas to the team
- Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and aligning on priorities across Payments
- Moves quickly and takes a forceful stand without being abrasive
- Builds atmosphere of trust within the team; inspires team to do their best work and addresses impediments to this quickly and effectively

- BA/BS degree, 9 years technical project management or relevant experience
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Pay Range$192,000—$237,500 USD
