As a Business Analyst in our team, you will play a pivotal part in the discovery, design and collaborative problem solving for new features and the continuous improvement of our products alongside a dynamic and progressive Product Management team. This key role acts as a bridge to ensure feature discovery, design and implementation, meet the desired outcomes for customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to feature discovery and design with product management, including leading on aspects of activities such:
    • Mapping current and future state user journey / service flows
    • Running co-design sessions
    • Liaising with development on technical constraints / systems process mapping
    • Input to concept prototyping with designs to test solutions
    • Documenting user insights and lessons learn in presentations and confluence
  • Lead on documentation of user stories during design and handover to development, including follow through end-to-end to release.
    • Document final user stories in JIRA as design flows are approved
    • Support handover from design to development
    • Lead as the point of contact for specific feature for delivery, quality and development.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary degree in computer science, product design or similar, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, using design thinking approaches to solve problems collaboratively, in a small multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate workshops, co-design and ideation sessions, and customer and stakeholder interviews.
  • Ability to provide concise presentations on both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Technical understanding to work effectively with architects and development team to understand feasibility constraints and assess merits of different proposed solutions.
  • Ability to map both customer current and future state journey’s and system processes to ensure the feature roadmap is comprehensive and documentation enables effective delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of digital product features from discovery to release, in a fast-paced, agile environment.
