Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to partner with Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Optimization, Autoship Product, Merchandising, IT, and Customer Service teams in Autoship and help create scalable, maintainable, and reliable high-visibility metrics and reporting tools, and generate business insights.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Responsible for designing and implementing data models, metrics and dashboards, and providing insights that influence business and operational decisions for Autoship.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of how all of the many pieces of Chewy.com work together to provide the expected level of service for Chewy’s Autoship customers.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 3 years in data analysis, metrics and dashboard building, and maintenance.
  • Must also have experience in the following: using business intelligence reporting and visualization tools, including Excel and Tableau;
  • Different database technologies, including Vertica, SQL Server, and Snowflake;
  • Writing and tuning SQL scripts;
  • Scripting for automation, including Python, and R;
  • Conducting large-scale data analysis to support business decision making;
  • Drawing insights from data and communicating them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and senior management; and
  • Building functional and engaging customer experiences.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer II position is $102,690 - $159,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
