Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Bellevue, Washington, to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep learning.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
  • Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.
  • Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
  • Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports, Dashboards and insights.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 4 years with: detailed knowledge of BI data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools.
  • 3 years of experience required with BI/visualization tools like Tableau/ BO/ OBIEE.
  • 2 years of experience required with building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports and enterprise level BI solutions; and
  • data modeling in large Data warehousing, data lake environment.
  • Experience must also include: Big Data stack environments (EMR, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive); and
  • analytical skills with advanced SQL.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer II position is $142,501.00 - $159,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
