Title: Director, Integrated Media

We are looking for a world-class, strategically minded, results focused individual who sets the agenda at all levels and brings a track record of success across brand activations, offline, online and partnerships. As the Director of Integrated Media you will oversee the media activity for all brands with an omni-channel focus owning a substantial budget to orchestrate repeatable and scalable results across key marketing channels and tactics. Reporting to our VP, Growth Marketing you will spearhead both strategy and execution to optimize a massive marketing budget against company goals. 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing teams, internal stakeholder relationships and online/offline media strategy and activation. You will have broad visibility across the business as well as the global HelloFresh Community – and will collaborate daily with peers in Growth, Brand, Creative, Product, Finance, and Analytics. Serve as an advocate for your department, agency and our brands within the industry. This is a high performance/high impact role driving incredible growth at HelloFresh working across the Growth Organization. 

You will…

  • Be a thought leader and expert on all things growth marketing
  • Lead the strategy and establish best-in-class practices across traditional media channels such as TV, podcasts, direct mail within a direct response environment
  • Build, lead, and develop a team of highly-capable growth marketers, while contributing to our authentic, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
  • Be accountable for best in class execution of media strategy in partnership with supporting internal and external partners. Proactively identify and close gaps. 
  • Utilize data-driven methodology, analysis, and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency of our performance channels
  • Lead and guide translation of brand goals to the brand Strategy and activation teams, and media partners
  • Oversee campaign management and reporting, including in-depth analytics of LTV, CPA, ROI, and incrementality
  • Manage the testing framework and feedback loop for the brand team to continuously iterate on creative assets, and execute experiments and conversion tests to improve LTV/CAC ratios
  • Have a passion for innovation, as well as tenacity for owning the end-to-end customer acquisition funnel, collaborating across multiple functions and driving business results for both the short and long term
  • Operate a continuous improvement service delivery model to increase portfolio and channel efficiencies for delivery
  • Partner with internal teams to optimize campaign performance; e.g. Creative, BI, Digital Product, etc.—(targeting, optimization, creative direction, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Data Science to develop tooling, automation, and new measurement methodologies, improve measurement rigor, and optimize performance

You have...

  • A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role.
  • 15+ years of experience directly managing marketing campaigns at $100M+ annual budget client or agency side
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in strategic planning and buying with an expertise in brand advertising, broadcast/linear, direct mail, print, programmatic and endemic media
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, planning and steering key channel decisions cross-functionally
  • Strong understanding of advertising and marketing technology.
  • Expert knowledge of unlocking value from external and internal partners, agencies and creative teams, respectively
  • Experience unlocking value from online ad platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Snapchat Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager etc. through proven integrated media campaigns
  • 10+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Solid understanding of testing approaches including A/B tests as well as incrementality tests
  • Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
