About the role… 

As a Director of Solutions Architecture, AMER, at HashiCorp, you will lead a dynamic team in a high-performance environment, applying your expertise in solution architecture and/or sales engineering. Your role will be pivotal in guiding the Solutions Architecture team who serve as product and solution domain experts, and drive strategic engagements with their customers during their journey with HashiCorp's products. 

In this role, you can expect to…

• Oversee an organization of Solutions Architect Managers and/or Solutions Architect Specialists providing excellent leadership, mentorship and steer the direction of the SA org for AMER 
• Drive optimal customer outcomes and make significant contributions to sales growth by effectively building and mobilizing a team of product experts whose goal is the delivery of sophisticated level technical support to Customers and field teams alike
• Design and roll-out organizational changes to ensure efficient coverage across the Solutions Architecture teams across pre and post sales phases of the customer journey
• Drive strategic opportunities across the entire customer journey, from discovery to optimization, ensuring HashiCorp’s products are effectively adopted and integrated within customer environments
• Continually evaluate and update the Solutions Architecture engagement model with supporting systems
• Work as a partner with the Value Engineering and Product Management teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions and contribute to new product requirements
• Work closely with peer global Solutions Architecture leaders as well as AMER Solutions Engineering Leadership to establish continuous feedback loops and ensure ongoing alignment
• Supervise and report on related KPIs/metrics and find opportunities for optimization

 

You may be a good fit for our team if you have the following…

• 10+ years experience management experience in solution architecture, sales engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years in a technical people leadership role
• Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms
• Proficiency and/or knowledge of existing HashiCorp tools such as Terraform, Vault, and Consul is a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and multi-task, in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Ability to effectively work cross functionally and manage multiple partner relationships
• Demonstrated leadership in managing technical organizations (both leaders and individual contributors) with a focus on getting results and team development
• Exercise sound judgment with respect to relative importance, priorities, time allocations, and resource requirements
• Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies

The base pay range for this role is:$221,040—$260,000 USDThe OTE pay range for this role is:$276,300—$325,000 USD
