What You'll Do:

LogicMonitor is disrupting the hybrid cloud monitoring market by changing the way businesses use disparate sources of data. We are already a leader in this space – and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we have carved out excellent product-market fit in hybrid cloud monitoring. Our customers love LogicMonitor's ability to bring cloud and traditional IT together into one view, as seen in minimal churn rates, expansion business, and exciting new customer references. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a EMEA Channel Sales Executive - France.

The role of the Account Executive within Channel Sales at LogicMonitor is to help build additional routes to market through channel partners and complimentary vendor partners. With a reseller and/or referral partner network we will sell with these partners to businesses and service providers, based in France. You will be responsible building a channel eco-system, from scratch, across France. With a primary focus on identifying new partners and helping to on-board and manage those partners. You will be responsible for all aspects of partnership including business development with the partners, partner marketing activities (in conjunction with our marketing team) and also managing the sales cycle from initial conversation, through demo to contract sign off,  driving adoption of MEDDPICC to manage this. 

You will have experience in managing sales through partnership organisations, delivering results through third parties but also in managing sales cycles on your own, in a direct sales capacity. Your background will be in a software sales role managing a channel partner network with responsibilities for on-boarding of new partners as well as the full sales cycle. You will be an extremely positive individual who sees challenges as opportunities and has the ability to motivate and lead by example. The role will involve travel and you should expect varied working hours. 

Here's a closer look at the duties in this key role:

  • Identify & recruit channel partners and resellers to onboard and build meaningful partnerships with.
  • Educate channel partners / resellers on Logicmonitor's value proposition and work in tandem to correctly position Logicmonitor's platform to prospects, and existing customer bases within partners.
  • Understand the LogicMonitor platform and modules to a technical level and be prepared to answer questions to help partners optimise & customise their use of LM within their end users
  • Drive urgency within partners, working closely through sales cycles from targeting accounts through to pipeline generation and managing through to closed deal
  • Using MEDDPICC Sales Methodology, educating partners to uncover pain and sell LM back, based on value to their prospects and current customer base.
  • Work to revenue targets / leading indictors or KPI's based on activity / quarter, achieving or overachieving against these quarter on quarter
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, both within Logicmonitor and externally, in order to achieve maximum output from activity 
  • Manage growth sales opportunities from start to finish: Taking the prospect from initial conversation through requirements analysis, demo, PoV and contract negotiations
  • Record all sales activity in Salesforce + deal review sheets, providing accurate sales forecasts to the business on a weekly basis

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred
  • Past experience building a successful channel business within France from infancy through to a mature partner network
  • Native French speaker
  • Minimum 4-5 years of direct SaaS selling experience
  • Minimum 3 years channel account sales experience, specifically focused on building a channel network through Southern EMEA
  • Experienced selling using MEDDPICC, or another comparable value based sales methodology
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills with a solid grasp of the English language both written and verbal with competent presentation skills
  • Proven experience of negotiating new business opportunities
  • Proof of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a software sales role
