Mintel is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Events Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Events Marketing Specialist will coordinate events throughout the Americas. This job is primarily managing inbound conference speaking and sponsorship requests, Mintel-hosted webinar planning and production, promotional campaigns to accompany the event calendar, including emails, merchandise, and sales collateral. They will assist in pre- and post-event briefs as well as quarterly and annual ROI and effectiveness reports. They will also assist with the overall operations of the marketing department.

This is a Hybrid position based in Chicago. 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Contribute to creation and implementation of online and offline marketing campaigns, manage events calendar, and develop marketing materials such as brochures and promotional materials
  • Facilitate client/prospect webinars across the business, research and confirm speaking/exhibiting events and opportunities in all applicable vertical markets, problem-solve any logistics issues that may arise with equipment or collateral for assigned events, sales personnel, and report post show analysis on assigned events
  • Keep accurate and timely record of all costs for campaigns ensuring campaigns stay within budget, monitor office supply and reorder as necessary, as well as maintain and develop relationships with suppliers and event personnel.
  • Prepare ROI analysis on all marketing efforts, and identify new opportunities or efficiencies
  • Provide support to digital marketing specialist
