What you’ll do

Doctolib is looking for an External Growth Lead. Your mission will be to lead the External Growth team (M&A+Investor Relations) within Doctolib Corporate Development team, playing a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities to drive growth and enhance our market position. You will also play a key role in potential capital markets operations. 

Directly reporting to the Corporate Development Senior Director, you will work closely with our CEO, our CFO and other members of our Executive Committee (CTO, Managing Directors, etc.)

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • On M&A: 
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets.
    • Work on the full M&A process and lead the planning, execution and integration of M&A transactions.
    • Lead the planning, execution and integration of M&A transactions.
    • Coordinate cross-team (legal, people, product, etc) and cross-country projects to drive M&A processes.
    • Negotiate terms and agreements with target companies and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align M&A strategies with overall business objectives.
    • You will contribute to the integration of M&A transactions. 
  • On Investor Relations:
    • You will coordinate relations with external investors.
    • You will help coordinate relations with internal stakeholders (existing investors, Business Angels, ex-employees, etc.).
    • You will drive the execution of potential future capital market transactions for Doctolib and its shareholders.

You could be our next team member if you: 

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of M&A experience (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development).
  • You have a strong strategic acumen and you are able to articulate the rationale for an M&A transaction within Doctolib’s strategy.
  • You have experience managing all facets of a deal, including superior skills in screening and analyzing potential opportunities, cultivation, conducting due diligence, structuring, and integrating deals.
  • You feel comfortable with working in total autonomy (especially on smaller deals), including negotiating and closing.
  • You have very strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to contribute and follow complex projects/analyses.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate both verbally and in writing a compelling vision.
  • You are used to working in an international environment and able to think global / act local.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to transform the healthcare sector;
  • You have strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are fluent in English and French. Fluency in German, Italian or Dutch is a plus.
  • An understanding of the healthcare or technology industry and a good vision of the future of healthcare is a plus.
