The Finance Operations Analyst will work cross functionally in ensuring the build out the foundation that will allow Movable to continue to grow and expand in an ever-changing world.   The analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax and non tax requirements, while overseeing inter departmental projects. 

 

The role will report to VP, Finance Operations & Treasury

 

Responsibilities:

  •   Responsible for preparing and filing sales and use tax returns for multiple states
  •   Responsible for ensuring Movable is compliant with all tax and Secretary of State requirements.
  •   Assist VP, Finance Operations & Treasury with various tax projects.
  •   Assist VP, Finance Operations & Treasury with various non-financial statement audits
  •   Create and maintain quarterly accrual files for Accounting Department
  •   Work closely with VP, Finance Operations & Treasury on filing of multi country corporate tax      returns
  •   Work with Sales, Client Experience and deals desk on appropriate actions to take for client overages
  •   Run point on inter department projects such as financial system integrations and ADP
  •   Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  •   At least 3 years experience in accounting or tax
  •   Understanding of regulations and accounting standards.

 

 

The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 USD/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
