The Lifecycle Growth Marketing team engages with millions of Lyft riders and drivers to drive preference and usage of Lyft. The team runs hundreds of acquisition, engagement, retention and resurrection experiments every year across email, push notifications, SMS and in-app messaging surfaces. 

We are data-driven in everything we do. We test and measure all of our communications and tailor experiences to be personalized and contextual by audience segment. 

In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing Operations to communicate driver incentives and earnings opportunities, and you will own and optimize always-on scaled incentive touchpoints targeting active drivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop lifecycle marketing, always-on campaigns across email, push notification, SMS and in-app channels to increase frequency, reduce churn and improve retention
  • Create and own an experimentation roadmap to execute a rigorous testing agenda, validate hypotheses and scale effective messaging interventions
  • Define experiment setup (targeting, timing, channel strategy, duration, primary metrics)
  • Write creative briefs and work with creative teams to design campaign assets
  • Engage cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Data Science and Creative to meet ambitious growth targets and to increase campaign performance through better tooling, automation and personalization
  • Measure and report on the impact of projects, and collaborate to scale efficient levers
Experience:
  • 5+ years in growth or marketing, with demonstrated experience creating and analyzing owned channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, push, in-app messaging)
  • Experimentation experience, with a proven track record of designing and executing a testing roadmap
  • Data-led decision making and analytical skills - proficiency with SQL is a must. You are expected to write and interpret queries and use data to identify opportunities for experimentation and optimization. 
  • Experience using monetary incentives to drive business impact and influence behavior
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation technologies
  • Creative and empathetic thinker; you always think customer first
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities

This role is in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members are expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and a team determined day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected range of pay for this position in the San Francisco area is $139,500 - $155,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
