The Role

This role can be filled in one of our office locations in Madrid, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona.

The GTM Strategy and Operations team at Personio is a key strategic partner for our sales and marketing leaders across strategy and analytics, operations and process, and tools. Team members are experts in business strategy, operations as well as analytical and strategic thinking. They are innately curious and strive to always understand and better the status quo.

As a GTM Strategy & Operations Analyst you are a catalyst for growth. With that growth comes the increasing demand for data to support decision-making, set and track goals, predict the future and automate processes. Your role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and results-driven execution. As a strategic partner, you will work closely with our data, sales and marketing teams building insights and interpreting business performance to identify opportunities to accelerate growth or drive efficiencies.

Samples of your work will be dashboards and reports communicating key insights across our revenue pipeline or forecast models helping us be more predictable about future business performance.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing
  • Own strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency

  • Love data: You will want to build and implement sales analytics and business intelligence which will enable the global sales organization to successfully execute on selling strategies, build greater customer intimacy, and achieve sales goals

  • Dashboard creation: You will need to create dashboards that allow stakeholders to monitor and analyze key metrics related to the business. These dashboards should be interactive and updated in real time

  • Business strategy: You will need to work closely with the leadership team and other analysts to develop and execute business strategies based on data-driven insights. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, optimizing operations, and reducing costs

  • Partner with cross functional teams such as the Data or Finance org on specific project

What you need to succeed

  • At least 1/2 years of data analytics experience in SaaS, Subscription, or B2B environments, preferably providing insights for Sales or other relevant functions

  • Proficiency in SQL and BI/Visualization tools like Tableau, enabling efficient data extraction, manipulation, and presentation for impactful data visualization.

  • You have experience with customer relationship software (SFDC, Hubspot etc…)

  • Experience enabling teams to make data-based decisions, promoting a data-driven culture by guiding access to relevant data, conducting analyses, and interpreting insights across the organization.

  • Analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity for uncovering insights beyond surface-level numbers, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Articulate communicator, conveying data observations in layperson terms, facilitating clear and concise communication of complex insights to stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving impactful results, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving, and identifying opportunities where data-driven insights can make a tangible impact.
