The Role:
The Head of Marketing at Voltaiq will be responsible for running the marketing program at Voltaiq, with specific emphasis on content marketing, trade shows, and collateral development and distribution. Our ideal candidate has experience building content initiatives from scratch, starting with a data-informed idea and culminating in several pieces of thematic content across integrated channels. You will work with our internal team, customer base, and advisory network to create content that aligns with market needs and Voltaiq’s growth priorities. Enterprise Battery Intelligence is a new software category that was pioneered by Voltaiq and is gaining adoption across global industry – this is a unique opportunity to work at the leading edge of the transition to sustainable energy while helping to define the voice and messaging of a key company and product category working to accelerate that transition.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and sales, customer success, and engineering stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact content themes.
- Own and manage the marketing content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Own and manage a monthly webinar series, working with the team to identify topics, speakers, and guests, and develop follow-on content from these webinars including blog posts, video extracts, and social media posts.
- Craft speaking sessions and help source speakers from internal teams and community members to drive our event strategy.
- Work with our customer community to help tell their stories on a public stage, blog, video, etc.
- Own the product and customer content within our website and work closely with our internal product team, and external design agency to keep it compelling and current.
- Manage and execute on our SEO content strategy to grow organic traffic, improve domain ranking, and increase relevant backlinks.
- Manage trade shows from exhibit, collateral development and logistics, to pre-conference lead generation and post conference follow-up in conjunction with sales.
- Dive deep into technical material, product roadmaps, trends, and research to develop ideas for new content, tech talks, and other educational materials.
- Proactively be a fountain of ideas for new and engaging content to drive our narrative.
- Support product marketing in nurture emails and newsletters to engage and inform.
- Manage a small group of external vendors as required for delivery of marketing content.
- Up to 25% travel to customer sites and tradeshows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing delivering technical content in a wide array of formats (speaking sessions, articles, videos, tutorials, etc.)
- Proficiency leveraging data to drive content decisions.
- Unwavering attention to detail, grammar, and fluency in line with Voltaiq’s brand voice.
- The ability to execute quickly on cross-functional projects with minimal direction.
- A customer-centric mindset, dedicated to exceeding user expectations.
- Strong project management skills, including ownership and follow-through in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.
- A passion for working to accelerate the global transition to clean energy.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Voltaiq is a remote-first company, and salaries are adjusted for cost of labor in each city. The salary range for this position is $110,000- $180,000, plus equity, depending on location and experience.
