Your role and your team:

Our HSE team's belief is that every employee is unique and deserves to be protected against injuries by creating a safe workplace.   We are looking for an Intern with an interest in HSE to join the occupational HSE team which works hard to foster a safe and healthy occupational environment here at Lilium.   

You will be part of a small multidisciplinary group that follows its beliefs across all production departments, from our R&D facilities to logistics and aircraft assembly.

Your day-to-day:

Support in a range of activities including :

  • Developing risk assessments (Gefährdungsbeurteilungen) and Standard Operating Procedures (Betriebsanweisungen)
  • Accident/incident analyses
  • Planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the success of EHS campaigns and projects
  • Developing H&S inspection checklists
  • Development of the Lock out / Tag out Program (Methodology, Procedure, Machine specific instructions, Training of employees)

You will also:

  • Conduct safety inspections including identification and documentation of safety and health risks in the design of workplaces and processes with the subsequent derivation of measures
  • Prepare for and support safety instruction and training
  • Develop and implement HS policies and procedures (ladder safety, company cars, racking and stacking, hot work, working at heights, pre-shift inspections, cranes, lifting devices/equipment, laser)
  • Support the ongoing efforts in hazardous material management

About you 

We are looking for a confident communicator who can engage with our people and external stakeholders.  An interest and ideally some experience in HSE work is an asset and a curious, analytical approach to your work is important.    We would love to find someone who works with accuracy and who can evaluate technical information - working independently and always taking the initiative. 

Study in a scientific or engineering field is a plus, as is a technical apprenticeship.

Fluent English skills are a requirement and German language skills are a bonus.
