YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, we are looking for a passionate, detail and results oriented professional to join our People department in our headquarters in Barcelona to support the People Controller and the interactions with the Finance team in their rapid growth phase. As part of the Global People Department you will play a key role in supporting the decision making process by controlling the execution of the budget and providing the internal departments with personnel cost reporting.

THE JOURNEY

  • Review, report and consolidate Payroll Costs monthly according to the Finance team needs and deadlines
  • Support the People Controlling team with annual Headcount Planning and monthly Best Estimate 
  • Assist in the monthly Global Personnel budget tracking (Actuals vs Budget) and variance analysis
  • Create, automate and simplify reports, tools and processes to enable decision making
  • Support several stakeholders within Finance and People departments across the company with any ad-hoc requests

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required
  • +2 years of experience in Finance, Audit or related Controlling fields
  • Proficiency of the English language
  • Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous, good vibes & techie!
  • G Suite expertise (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expertise (Excel)
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, meet all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Commitment to process improvement and exceptional attention to detail
  • Hands-on profile and peace in mind to be discrete and handle sensitive or (most of the time) confidential information
  • Experience with Workday and/or SAP (Desirable)
  • Spanish Language (Desirable)
