Your focus

As a Junior QA, your main responsibility is to take the initiative in testing digital projects for various clients. You will collaborate closely with different departments (strategists, creative technologists, developers, designers, producers) to ensure quality at each stage of the project.

Your responsibilities

• Consistently follow Phantom QA processes for all assigned projects, championing quality throughout.
• Undertake and complete testing activities in the agreed timescale for multiple projects; including functional, regression and usability testing.
• Ensure all issues are logged (using Jira) in an informative and timely manner, adhering to the high standards set by the QA team.
• Become a domain and QA expert for your assigned projects, documenting and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
• Actively participate in project meetings, advocating for quality at all times.

Your skills

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and spoken English with exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to write and maintain test cases based on briefs and design documentation.
• Experience in cross-browser and device testing, especially with BrowserStack.
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and the ability to stay calm and prioritise in times of tight deadlines and conflicting demands.

Bonus points

• ISTQB Foundation tester certification.
• Exposure to writing and implementing automated test scripts, ideally using Cypress or Playwright.
• Understanding and experience of web accessibility guidelines.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Chat GPT, Bard, Stable Diffusion etc.
• Experience using Google Workspace.

How you’ll work

This is a full time, permanent position, working within the London QA team and reporting to the QA Director.
