Junior Sales Manager

We are a growing team looking for a Junior Sales Manager to help us on our journey to revolutionise road freight logistics. You would join our Commercial department, based out of the Milan office and will report to the Head Of Commercial.

About The Role

As a Junior Sales Manager you are responsible for acquiring and developing strategic clients and pushing our growth in Italy.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Take full responsibility on a specific sennder Italia's client portfolio;
  • Work directly with your accounts to identify and develop new business opportunities;
  • Conduct ongoing analysis using our CRM (reports, sales KPIs) of the sales process in order to improve its efficiency and to manage the entire opportunities life cycle;
  • Ensure new revenue to the company by taking full ownership of the whole sales cycle (from cold calls to contract sign);
  • Collaborate with the operations department and pricing function to ensure that clients receive an excellent service;
  • Build up your skills in order to grow into a potential leading role in the future.

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE:

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or commercial roles (B2B). Freight forwarding industry / road transport highly preferred;
  • A real hunter-mind, with the ability to influence an audience;
  • A self-starter with a hands-on approach;
  • Availability to travel within the country (to attend customers’ meetings);
  • Ideally a native level of Italian language and a very good English knowledge.
