Learning Program Manager

On the People Team, we are at the forefront of the efforts to supercharge Crunchyroll employees, empowering our people to do their best work and level up their careers. This role will play a key role in the development of our internal learning programs such as leadership development and skill building. Working with the Sr Manager of L&D, they will also be responsible for designing content, facilitating sessions, managing and vetting vendors, and promoting engagement throughout the company. They’ll partner closely with our People Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion teams to ensure DEIB is always at the core of how we shape our leaders adn team members.

What You’ll Do In This Role

  • Drive our learning and leadership programs in coordination with the needs of the People Team
  • Instructional design and facilitate (in varied modalities) content to supplement any company training, especially in the areas of professional growth, engagement, and leadership
  • Support scheduling and logistics for learning and inclusion initiatives across the organization
  • Research new vendors to meet varied development needs and provide solutions that bring superior results for teams and individuals
  • Develop and implement activities that help hone our leaders and next-generation managers
  • Act as a go-to internal expert on learning and engagement - consulting with leaders and individual contributors across the organization
  • Evolve our learning roadmap with a clear and impassioned vision of bringing our unique core strengths and the combination of assets to life
  • Coordinate and manage ad-hoc projects from start to finish as we continue to grow the L&D function

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years experience managing or contributing to Talent/Learning/Leadership Development or other People programs
  • 3+ years of classroom-style facilitation with expert skills in engaging adult learners
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a social science field. (or 3-5 additional years of relevant experience)
  • Innovation and independent drive; an owner who cares deeply for the success of their program
  • Highly organized with the ability to run multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of events, planning, and programming
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and experience with corporate communication campaigns
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and discerning judgment
  • Ability to establish relationships and trust at all levels of the organization and with diverse populations
  • Ability to work with multiple partners across various departments while balancing multiple projects/programs
  • A proactive, service-driven, and collaborative approach to identifying, crafting, and responding to opportunities
  • Highly proficient with Google Suite (Forms, Sites, Slides, Docs, & Sheets). Additional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership or an MBA
  • Experience working in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Absorb, Cornerstone, or Docebo
  • Graphic design experience: you can wow an audience with a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck.
  • Certification in DiSC

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
