Elastic, makers of the hugely popular open source products Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats, is growing very fast and so is our marketing team. As a key member of the Marketing Operations and Global Demand Engine teams, you will play a hands-on, critical role in Marketing Operations coordination and execution as well as, Marketing Operations MarTech management administration. A key aspect of the role will be supporting our digital asset management platform. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will apply content management and analytics expertise to improve content findability, relevance, and accuracy.

Elastic is looking for a flexible and adaptable person with the ability to handle a variety of different tasks and responsibilities. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual who has marketing automation experience, is process oriented, has the desire to gain experience with MarTech tools and processes, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle daily marketing automation activities and track progress of operational requests coming from the marketing team
  • Implement and develop Marketo campaigns that support each business line’s demand generation strategy and ensure proper lead flow
  • Handle and ensure data quality in systems
  • Monitor taxonomies and metadata schemas for organizing information resources on the basis of business goals and stakeholder requirements
  • Coordinate daily content asset intake and retrieval
  • Evaluate digital assets for archiving, research rights issues, and maintain quality control of archiving operations
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once
  • Project manage new initiatives or updates to current processes to include tracking project progress against milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
  • Communicate project status and keep direct and indirect stakeholders adequately informed and engaged
  • Assist in the distribution of internal communication vehicles, including updating and maintaining Monday boards, Wiki, MADS Hub, and Marketing Playbook
Requirements
  • Proven marketing automation experience (2+ yrs)
  • Experience with Marketo or similar automation tool, Salesforce.com, Digital Asset Management platform (Brandfolder) or similar
  • Understanding of metadata and taxonomy applications, structured content standards, and best practices for system navigation, content organization, search and retrieval, and content management and measurement
  • Strong understanding of content development and activation processes and workflow
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and consensus-building skills
  • Proficient in Google suite of products
  • Interested in learning new tools and willingness to develop new skills
  • Writes effectively using various styles to address different needs and audiences
  • Enthusiastic teammate with the ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with key stakeholders
  • Familiar with basic marketing concepts (campaigns, leads)
  • Experience working with remote and global teams and in a matrix organization
