YOUR MISSION

Our International Supply Operations team at Glovo is a small, high-performing team with a diverse range of backgrounds such as ex-consultants, BI, data and business analysts.

As part of the International Supply team, you will play a key role in shaping Glovo’s Operations strategy as well as working on critical strategic projects across the countries for qualitative and quantitative challenges.

Expect the work to be challenging, varied, and analytical.

THE JOURNEY

  • Work closely with product managers, business operations, and data engineering to guide product in problem discoveries, monitor and give visibility of product metrics and KPIs
  • Coordinate best practices, be the point of contact and own the playbooks for the international Operations to help drive the couriers needed to cover our demand
  • Improve processes and day-to-day efficiency of the Operations department
  • Be very proactive and autonomous with international analytics and insights that can move the business forward. Be step ahead on what the operations needs in terms of margins, improvement and optimisation opportunities
  • Lead execution of complex projects autonomously with success (post-mergers, product requirements/rollout, etc.)
  • Be considered as top-notch support for countries in developing analysis, strategy or give support in specific projects or gaps to be filled
  • Support our regional operations teams to analyze their countries, define their ways of working, create their periodical reports, develop their strategies and work with local regional leads to spot issues, test solutions, and implement key changes at a local level

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 1-3 years of experience in positions related to project management, strategy, financial analysis, operational excellence
  • Demonstrated strong analytical expertise and highly advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to understand and frame a wide range of problems and opportunities, identifying key questions to answer, breaking them down into logical components, executing high-quality quantitative analysis, and delivering practical insights/recommendations
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders (including senior leadership) across any departments in Glovo, defining value, scope & deliverables, effectively integrating their inputs, adequately managing their expectations, and building trust. Able to communicate results to key stakeholders in a concise and clear manner (in writing and orally)
  • Ability to turn strategic insights into actions, by structuring and leading projects. Build hypotheses and test them
  • Ability to support or lead execution of company/regional/country priorities, coordinating between relevant parties, ensuring rigorous tracking of objectives, proposing improvements along the way
  • Proficiency in English is a must
