About the Role

Location:  Mt Lehman Rd & Automall Dr, Abbotsford

Pay: $23.25/hr

Shift: Wednesday through Sunday 6:30am - 3pm

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture the Operations Administrator plays a key role in building a culture of connection at HelloFresh. You will be an important part of the HR team working closely with operations managers and the HR team to assist in running day-to-day operations and our team members to feel supported.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for office administration tasks including ordering office supplies, managing kitchen supplies, and maintaining vendor management relationships
  • Provides day-to-day support for the HR team including administration of jackets, lockers, safety shoes, access cards, and donation policies and procedures as needed
  • Supports the DC in establishing a positive and engaging workplace culture by leading engagement activities and the social committee. 
  • Supports HR by acting as a first point of contact for Hourly employees and actively participating in conversations on the production floor
  • Maintains communications channels including updating TV Screens, posters, and bulletin boards throughout the facility
  • Provides day-to-day support for operations including data entry for all departments as needed
  • Supports the administration and planning for Time Management and Scheduling 
  •  Assists with hourly employee and onboarding/offboarding and training
  • Responsible for Agency employee orientation and coordinating trainings with the Operations team 
  • Assists with creating and maintaining hourly employee profiles in HRIS and Time Management systems
  • Participates as a member of the JHSC as needed
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and special projects to drive efficiencies and optimization within the HR team and DC operations
  • Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

  • Post-secondary education in Arts or Business degree
  • Excellent customer service and enthusiasm for connecting with employees including  the ability to explain systems, and processes and bridge communication gaps
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, especially as it relates to sensitive employee information
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, plus excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening and proofreading
  • Experience planning and organizing social events 
  • Ability to demonstrate good, sound judgment and work independently with minimum direction or supervision
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet)
