About the Role

Location: 920 36 Ave, Nisku

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (6 Month Contract)

Pay: $23.25/ hour

Reporting to the People Operations Lead - you will be an important part of the People Operations team working closely to build and review the process optimization with the People Operations Lead; assist in running day-to-day processes mainly people systems, HRIS systems, data integrity, and people service tasks. 

What you will be doing:

  • Support in conducting regular reviews of existing people processes related to HelloFresh staff and identify areas for improvement and optimization esp. in streamlining onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • Support in collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and streamline processes for increased efficiency.
  • Handle the system administration of the onboarding process for hourly employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Support the HRIS (Workday) system administration process for employees , ensuring all necessary tasks are completed and feedback is collected for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding people operations inquiries.
  • Support in providing guidance and ensuring compliance on policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a positive experience as well as stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations affecting hourly employees.
  • Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support in generating reports and analytics to track key people metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and special projects to drive efficiencies and optimization within the HR team and DC operations
  • Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business degree
  • Excellent customer service and enthusiasm for connecting with employees including  the ability to explain systems, processes and bridge communication gaps
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, especially as it relates to sensitive employee information
  • Proven experience in people operations, HR administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of onboarding, offboarding, and related HR processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy as well as excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening and proofreading
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet)
