As the Engineering Manager for the Perceived Performance Team, you will lead and grow a hybrid team of Android, iOS and Web Engineers that designs, builds and ships engaging and delightful UI experiences for Pinterest users. Your team will optimize key product surfaces and integrate perceived performance functionality into the design system used by every client developer at Pinterest. You will define a vision for perceived performance, drive technical excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on the team's roadmap.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of Android, iOS, Web Engineers and help them develop new skills and advance in their careers.
  • Provide a vision to the team, drive technical excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on the team's roadmap.
  • Drive key initiatives across all Pinterest product surfaces to deliver a more delightful user experience.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product and Platform teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following platforms: Android, iOS, Web, API.
  • Strong communication, people development, and software project management skills.
  • Ability to deliver on goals and form long-term strategies around technology, processes, and people.
