Private Wealth Data Science Intern

Position Overview
The Data Science Intern will work as part of the Private Wealth team and is expected to perform the fundamental core responsibilities described below. The Data Science intern will work within the Global CRM team and closely with members of the Business Development team, other Private Wealth members, and all relevant departments to support data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Handle reporting requirements for the Business Development Team, including gathering requirements, creating report templates, and routinely updating reports
- Apply analytical skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems, extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, and contribute to the development of data-driven outcomes
- Maintain data hygiene by creating, updating and deleting records in applicable systems
- Analyze reports to draw meaningful conclusions, highlight trends, extract insights to support decision-making
- Assist in process standardization and automation
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms
- Prepare and present reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify and investigate issues or inconsistencies with data
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, IT
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with Python Libraries
- Experience in Python programming and understanding of the software development life cycle
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
