Databricks is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support us as a Procurement Specialist on our fast-growing Global Procurement team! You will report to the Head of Travel & Expense. You will support our Supplier Management function in verifying supplier payment information to ensure payment security. You will also be responsible for administering the global Corporate Credit Card Program and Policy, including handling the card application process, card usage, delinquency management, accounting of credit card transactions, overviewing the payments, reporting and data analytics. You will be providing internal customer support as well as responding to queries or following up with cardholders and their managers on various topics in order to reinforce internal policies and rules. You will also interface with our suppliers to investigate payment information changes. You will work with other teams, such as Procurement, FP&A, HR to deliver a best in class expense reimbursement process for all employees.

The impact you will have:

  • Ensure payment updates sent to Databricks are legitimate and verified by the supplier/bank.
  • Support initiatives to increase supplier information security and mature our supplier management processes.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly reporting package to provide visibility to senior management on spending behaviors across the Company’s segments.
  • Manage expense systems and integrations with other related platforms to drive effective processes and enhancements.
  • Enforce adherence to the Company’s Corporate Card Policy with alignment to the Travel & Expense policy through review and audit 
  • Drive strategy, day-to-day operations, accruals, reconciliations and policies 
  • Ensure all new credit card applications are handled timely, on a daily basis
  • Perform delinquent accounts reconciliations and management according to the established work procedures
  • Timely manage inquiries (internal & external), perform root cause analysis and provide resolution
  • Provide training to newcomers and contribute to the creation and update of training documents
  • Continuously seek to enhance knowledge, self-improvement and better understanding of the tools used
  • Identify process or system improvements opportunities and participate in their implementation

What we look for:

  • Experience with the corporate payment process and supplier management
  • 2+ years experience in global corporate card administration, analysis and reporting
  • Experience and understanding of liability/requirements/rules across all Databricks locations
  • Understanding of corporate financial principles
  • Working english proficiency
  • B.S or B.A. degree, or business related or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with  Expensify, Emburse, Concur, Netsuite, Navan, Egencia, Workday, Coupa, G Suite and Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
  • A team player, excellent communicator, appetite for innovation and adept at building relationships across organizations.
  • Desire for accuracy, analytics, stellar customer service approach and strong attention to detail.
