Regional Investigation & Site Security Manager

Wayfair Global Safety and Security (GLOSS) is a multifunctional team that prioritizes mitigating risk by protecting our assets, gathering intelligence and data, driving collaborative process improvements, and continuously evolving our culture through an inclusive approach to safety and security operations.
The Security & Investigation Supervisor is responsible for implementing and enhancing Wayfair's security standards, systems and processes. Your responsibilities will include taking over regional investigation activities in Germany and the UK as well as supporting the global investigation team. You will report to the Regional HSS Manager.
You will be the point of contact for the regional service providers and support the development of a number of security initiatives. You will work closely with the HSS Manager and Security Program Manager Overseas and regulatory compliance teams.
You will share responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant processes across all Wayfair German and UK sites to prevent personal injury, property damage and losses due to incidents, crimes and fraudulent acts.
What you will do
- Plan, execute and manage internal and interdepartmental investigation activities and loss prevention.
- Participate in intercompany investigations in collaboration with our vendors, transportation service providers, and payment service providers
- Provide professional on-site support to ensure security programs are integrated into daily operations and effectiveness is measured against KPIs
- Prepare security & Loss prevention risk assessments and mitigation recommendations. Develop corrective action plans.
- Manage regional security service providers.
- On-site contact person for the Global Security & Safety department.
What you need
- Minimum 2 years of relevant security & investigative experience (preferably police, fulfillment centers, delivery operations, corporate, etc.)
- Travel as required
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in security management or similar, or police or military training
- Wicklander and Zulawsky certification is a plus
- Initial experience in project and process management
- Experience with critical incident investigation and fraudulent action, root cause analysis and action plan development
- Proven experience in written and verbal communication in German and English at operational level
- Strong initiative, critical thinking and collaborative problem solving skills
- Strong reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
